About this photo:
Stuðlagil, was unknown for a long time due to the high rise of it's river. But after a hydroelectric plant was built, the landscape drastically changed and the water level decreased, making this canyon visible. I really wanted to capture a different view of this place, something I hadn't seen before. This is the pathway you stand on if you walk down to the river inside the canyon, taken very close up with a macro lens.
