About this photo:
Jökulsá í Lóni is a glacier river in Southeastern Iceland. It originates in Austur-Vatnajökull, more precisely Vesturdalsjökull. It flows through the rugged landscape of Lónsöræfi before coming down to the rivers in Lón and ending its journey in Lónsvík where this photo is taken. The Icelandic rivers are one of my favourite things to photograph.
